Kleptomanic dreams

Last night, before going to bed, I had to wash two loads of laundry, including the new clothes I had bought. I always wash new clothes, whether newly bought or second hand.

I had a dream where I was in Kuortti mansion; it’s this holiday resort owned by a charity company that supports children and teenagers with cancer. Considering that I had cancer (leukaemia) when I was a toddler, I have visited it many times. I have plenty of fond memories from there, so it’s no wonder I have dreams of it.
In the aforementioned dream, I stole a necklace and a pair of earrings decorated with plastic holly, like the flower crown that I bought from Hennes & Mauritz before Christmas.
I knew that stealing is wrong and I was afraid of getting caught. To be honest, nowadays I seem to have plenty of dreams where I steal something; last weekend I had a dream where I stole 115 postage stamps.

I got up at eleven o’clock in the morning, took my morning medicine, dressed up into the green cotton tunic I had bought from the thrift store.
Then I went back to bed and slept till half past two o’clock in the afternoon; it’s always the same, if I go back to bed right after taking my morning medicine, I sleep like a log for goddess knows how many hours.

I decided to go visit Lappish Spring; I grabbed my diary, and then I was off. I had been thinking of taking my laptop along, but I left in such a hurry that I left it home. Oh well.

I took the train to Helsinki and walked to Lappish Spring.
I met my mother, she gave me twenty euros and told me that she is going to give me the monthly allowance on 15th day, that is next Sunday. That was fine by me.

I drank some coffee, wrote into my diary, and talked with some friends. One of them who was named Kenny was drawing something called an abstract map, I told him that I used to draw the same kind of pictures except I called them "bacteria that causes inferiority complex".

Then I went to the café and bought a cup of cocoa and two cinnamon rolls, they were scrumptious.

When it was getting late, I walked through the snowfall to the subway station. Soon I was as white as a snowman, but it only made me laugh.
I wondered if I should travel all the way to Pasture Cape to visit Ekolo and buy laundry detergent. Then again, it was getting late and I had other things to buy and I could make do until the next payday with the rest of the detergent... so I travelled to the city center and went to the nearest Cybershop to look at their selection.

I decided to buy a pair of knock- off Hello Kitty headphones, they're two pea- soup green Hello Kitty earplugs with fuschia details. I got some discount with my customer card.

I caught a train home. Later the day Mirette came back, she had visited Girls’ House.

In the evening I took my medicine, watched Keeping up appearances on DVD, tidied up a bit, surfed on the Internet, started knitting another quilt square, drank a cup of green peppermint tea and another cup of black lemon tea, clipped my fingernails, and wrote into my diary and blog.

Tomorrow will be a busy day; for starters, I have to replace the towels, take the sheets off my bed, and wash them in the laundry; put my mattress, blanket and pillow to the balcony; and scrub the toilet bowl.

Me and Mirette will go to her home, her social worker will visit her and I promised to help them with tidying up Mirette's apartment.

My H&O worker will visit me at half past one o’clock in the afternoon, I will wash the dishes and iron the laundry while she’s visiting.

After the visit, I will take out the trash and then go fetch my Solian prescription and the permission from the psychiatric clinic, and go to the social office to apply for a coupon to pay for the medicine.

Then I will go visit my mother, and have a little mother-and-daughter bonding over a cup of coffee.

Then I will go to the gym and work out as usual, this time I won’t use the treadmill but rather use every single one of the exercise machines. I might take my shower gear along, so I won’t smell of sweat all day.

Once back home, I will do the weekly housework.
