As a result, I slept all the way to afternoon. I had dreams where my best friend Suavecita lived in Munkkiniemi, I slept on her bed and her German shepherd Jofa climbed on top of me and kept on sniffing me, I practically felt her weight.
When I finally got up, it was about one o’clock in the afternoon (1:00 pm). I was a bit disappointed that most of the day was wasted, but then again, if I had gotten up somewhere between five and eight o’clock in the morning (5:00 – 8:00 am) I would have been bored to tears.
I took my morning medicine, and washed the sleep off my eyes and rubbed lotion on my face. I couldn’t help wondering how smooth and even my skin looked, being compared to when I had acne during my teenage years, and later when I had rash.
I replaced the towels and took the week- old linen off my bed, intending to wash them later. I didn’t bother with brushing my teeth or eating a breakfast as it was well over noon.
I dressed into my pink Dirndl dress, and a long- sleeved Monster High shirt on it. I also put a pendant around my neck.
I immediately went to visit my parents’ home, taking the bus 571 to Raappavuori. I had planned to walk there, but I hadn’t eaten breakfast so I didn’t have enough blood sugar.
Once at my parents’ home, I noticed that some of their dirty dishes were getting mouldy so I put them into the dishwasher and turned it on. While waiting for the program to be done, I brewed some coffee and surfed on the Internet on their laptop.
Later the day I turned the machine off after the washing program was done, and took the bus 571 back to Myyrmäki.
I visited Citymarket to buy milk. Once back home, I started watching my favorite movie Ghost World on DVD.
Later the day my best friend Suavecita came to visit me. She brought four plastic bags, one full of food and three full of her old clothes and other stuff.
She had brought a block of cheese, a liter of milk, a package of coffee grounds, a packet of chocolate muffins, a bag of candy, and two bags of small cinnamon rolls.
I made coffee for both of us, and looked through the piles of clothes. There were some real vintage nightshirts that used to belong to Suavecita’s mother, and some that belonged to herself.
I saved some for myself, and put the rest into plastic bags and planned to take them to a charity shop.
We watched Ghost World, talked about things and stuff, joked and laughed, and later the day when she went back home, I accompanied her to her car and took the bags of clothes to a charity shop container.
It was about eight o’clock in the evening and there was a gorgeous sunset, I wanted to go for a walk in the neighbourhood so I could take photos of the nature and street art, but considering that there were junkies and drunkards about, I decided to go back home.
Once home, I took my evening medicine and brushed my teeth. It’s getting late and I should go to sleep, but I am too hyper for that and besides, I still need to finish writing today’s entry into my diary and Finnish blogs, put fresh sheets into my bed, have a wash, lotion my skin, and change into nighties… I’m glad I don’t feel like going to sleep yet, since I have stuff to do. I am going to blog a bit more and then I’ll do all that stuff and then go to sleep.
