It’s so weird, I put more energy into blogging than I put into housework. I guess I am a true millennial.
We made such a noise, talking and laughing and farting and recalling funny memories from mine and Suavecita’s time in grade school, but when it was closer to the small hours and today’s newspapers were delivered, we quietened down and went to bed with our respective gadgets. Mirette slept on my bed, and me and Suavecita slept on the sofa- bed.
I slept quite well, I had a dream about the planet Gallifrey from the TV show Doctor Who. I also had a dream about Pitch Black and Jack Frost from the movie Rise of the Guardians. Then I had the usual erotic nightmares.
In the morning I got up about at quarter past ten o’clock. I took my morning medicine, brushed my teeth, washed my face, showered my underbelly, anointed my skin with basic lotion, put on clean clothes, and made breakfast for Suavecita and Mirette. I had to wash the dishes so we would have clean coffee mugs.
I couldn’t help wondering why I was awake so early; after all, I had gone to sleep at three o’clock in the morning, and I felt fresh as a rose. My sleeping pattern always manages to surprise me.
I need to tidy up my home so it will be nice to come back after the Xmas holidays. I am going to visit my parents; I will stay there from Tuesday to Sunday next week.
Me and Mirette escorted Suavecita to Myyrmäki train station, she was heading back home. I took out the garbage on the way there. We waited with her for the train, which arrived almost immediately.
I spent most of the afternoon doing housework; I scrubbed the toilet bowl and wash basin in the bathroom, washed four loads of laundry, swabbed the kitchen counter and stove, ironed some clothes… Mirette played some music on her playlists on Spotify and updated her blog, while I did housework. She has a great taste in music.
Elyseé called me and asked if I wanted to see her today, she and Emjuso are going to Pinky’s. I said yes, and we agreed to meet at five o’clock in Arnold’s Coffee and Bakery Shop. Also Mirette had to leave at five o’clock to go see another friend, so it was a perfect time.
I met Elyseé and Emjuso in Arnold’s, we went to Pinky’s home. She served us chocolate, fruit drops, rosé wine and coffee. We had a nice time, talking about stuff and laughing. I showed them my new finger ring (I had gotten it from the My Little Pony advent calendar when I had accidentally opened tomorrow’s hatch), it was hard pink plastic with a heart- shaped picture of Fluttershy and Applejack. I had put it on my left finger ring, and joked that I had married a brony.
Emjuso sang Finnish ballads on SingStar, replacing all the nouns with the Finnish word for “pussy”, and we laughed a lot. I told Emjuso that we should go to a karaoke bar and sing the same song with the same wording.
Later the evening I went home, I visited Myyrmanni shopping center which was open late in the evening because of the Xmas season. I visited Hennes & Mauritz and was enthralled by the birthstone pendants, I decided to buy a December pendant for myself later when I would receive money.
I also visited the stationery shop and looked at a LEGO Star Wars sticker book and learned a lot about the Star Wars canon. I should really watch the rest of the movies some day before seeing The Force Awakens.
I went back home, took my evening medicine and brushed my teeth. I made a cup of coffee so I will have enough energy to wash the dishes and update my blogs.
Tomorrow I will continue the housework. I also need to go out for some errands; recycle the empty cans and bottles (and buy something useful with the money made from it), send a few cards (an Xmas card to grandmummy, and late birthday cards for Lauski who had her birthday on Dec 13th, and Elyseé who had hers on Dec 6th), take a couple of bills to the social office, and take the used batteries and lightbulbs to Citymarket for recycling.
My ASPA worker will visit me at half past two o’clock in the afternoon, I will set my smartphone alarm clock to wake me up at one o’clock in the afternoon, in case I don’t wake up earlier.
