I got up at quarter past eight o’clock in the morning (8:15 a.m.), and this time I remembered to take my morning medicine. I drank some coffee in my bathrobe, and checked my online bank account.
I had received the usual eighty euros (80 €). I paid a friend fifteen dollars (15 $) for a commission,
I took a shower and brushed my teeth, and put on a purple Dirndl dress and a long- sleeved baseball shirt over it.
I went to Myyrmanni shopping center, the supermarket was open but the smaller shops were still closed, they wouldn’t be opened until ten o’clock in the morning (10:00 a.m.). I visited the newly opened Starbucks, and bought a chocolate marshmallow venti. It tasted absolutely delightful but it gave me a brain- freezy.
I visited Cubus, a clothing shop, and I bought a brassiere, a pair of panties, and a pair of grey pyjama pants with a pink rose pattern. I also bought a pair of black leggings from Hennes & Mauritz. That’s all I could afford.
I took my new belongings home, and put them into the laundry basket.
Later the day I was off again, I went to the bread line in Martin’s Valley.
It was raining, so I put on my yellow rain coat that my mother had given me. In the bread line, there was a middle- aged man who wore exactly the same kind of coat. He kept on peering behind his shoulder and smiling at me, and every time I craned my neck to see if the line was moving, he looked the same way. I got the kind of impression that he was flirting with me.
I got two litres of milk, a leek, two packets of stir- fry vegetables, a head of a lettuce, a packet of salad, two pots of fruit yoghurt, and I also got plenty of bread.
Once back home, I put the groceries to their rightful places, and then I went to see my mother.
In the evening I drank so much coffee that I almost gave myself a caffeine poisoning, I wept because I had PMS and I recalled all the horrid things my parents and my brother ever did to me,
On Thursday I was supposed to go to the natatorium, but I didn’t make it there before it was closed, I went to see my mother, this time she accepted it because my father and brother had travelled to Berlin and she appreciated the company provided by me.
I bought a tube of Pepsodent White Now Glossy Chic toothpaste, and a Labello Milk & Honey lip balm. I haven’t used whitening toothpastes before, this time it’s a part of my “Beautiful Swan” routine, that is, dedicating the year 2016 to becoming healthier and prettier both physically and mentally.
I went to visit the contemporary art museum Kiasma, and then I went to see my mother again.
This morning I woke up at quarter past five o’clock (5:15 a.m.). I didn’t feel like forcing myself to sleep, so I got up, enjoyed my morning coffee in my bathrobe, and then I brushed my teeth and took a shower.
I washed the dishes, replaced the towels, took the bedlinen off my bed and put it to the laundry basket and also took the mattress, pillow and blanket to the balcony to have them aired and freshened.
I was feeling bored, so I decided to head for an urbane adventure. I took the bus 560 to Rastila, but I almost fell asleep in the bus so once in there, I took a subway to the city center and then the bus 411 to Myyrmäki.
Once home, I took a long nap, and got up at half past one o’clock in the afternoon.
I went to visit my mother, we had a good time together.
Later the day I returned to Myyrmäki and went to Myyrmanni shopping center to buy three magic ink pens, two lip balms, and a litre of milk.
Once back home, I felt the urbane wanderlust again, but decided to stay at home, as it was getting late already.
I took out the trash, hoovered the floor, took the carpet outside to dust it, and washed three loads of laundry.
