Her parents will get her another bed from IKEA by the end of the month, by the time when I host a party at my home; I will give my friends late Christmas gifts, and serve Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
Today I didn’t bother with doing the morning routines when I got up at noon, I just took my morning medicine and dressed up, even if I knew I would regret it later.
Later the day I went to see my parents, I took a bus to their home. The bus timetables were messed up again because they have changed at this time of the year.
Both mom and dad were home. I had coffee and orange juice, cinnamon rolls and sandwiches.
I unloaded the dishwasher, and loaded it with dirty dishes.
Later the day I went back to my own home, I hugged and kissed both of my parents and told them to take care.
I had to take a train back home because I didn’t trust the bus timetables.
The weather was nice and calm, it was above zero. I just didn’t like how the snow was all mushy, it was like walking through a potato field.
Once home, Mirette was waiting for me.
I washed two loads of laundry, ironed another load, and tidied up the bathroom; I scrubbed the floor and walls, swabbed the washbasin, toilet bowl, and the washing machine, and sprayed some air freshener around.
After we had finished our lunches, me and Mirette went to the department store to buy some treats; banana- chocolate ice cream, chocolate pralines, grated mozzarella cheese and small wheat squares for making pizza, peach- flavoured ice tea, and two small cans of ready- made chocolate milk to drink.
Once back home, I took a shower and warmed some soup in the microwave oven.
I started knitting another quilt square.
In the evening I swabbed the kitchen counters and washed a huge load of dirty dishes.
At eight o’clock I took my evening medicine and brushed my teeth, watched an episode of Keeping up Appearances, and read some omega!Junkrat fanfiction.
Tomorrow I will go to the library to return a huge pile of books and DVDs, and fetch my requests.
I have to finish the rest of the housework; hoover and mop the floor including from under the furniture, take out the trash, and swab the writing desk and nightstand, and take a burned- out lightbulb to recycling.
I will also go to the gym for the first time in a long time, I will walk on the treadmill for half an hour and then use all the exercise machines.
