I woke up when the repairer called me and asked if they can come over to fix the wall lamp in my kitchenette. Normally I would have told them to come as soon as possible, but it was eight o'clock in the morning so I told them to come over at noon.
I continued sleeping until noon, then I put on my bathrobe and took my morning meds and made some coffee.
Later the repairer came ringing the doorbell, so I let them in. They fiddled in the kitchen, and then I had a new wall lamp; it has a fluorescent lamp, and two electric plug holes or whatevsies they are called. I shook hands with them and wished them a happy Easter.
I logged in to my online bank account and noticed that I was richer by 80 euros, so I paid for my Netflix and then I went shopping.
I went to the local shopping mall and bought paper cups and plates, and then I went to the supermarket and bought treats for the Easter party; two kinds of chocolate eggs, jelly beans, lemon Jell-o, and also Karelian pies, milk, mouthwash, and hair bands.
I went back home and put everything to their rightful places. I busied myself until Mirette came over. I washed about half of the dirty dishes, and then we left.
We traveled to Helsinki and went to Monki; I had given Mirette one of the discount coupons. I bought a pink t- shirt with red embroidered words "girls support girls" and red edges on the sleeves and collar, I also bought a bracelet that I actually mistook for a necklace. It has this cute silver- plated pink bird- like pendant, and 20 percent of the price is donated to charity.
We went to the Finnish Red Cross youth group, and had an awesome time! There were awesome refreshments and awesome people. I got to eat mint- truffle chocolate, slices of orange, popcorn, and Karelian pies. When we were leaving, I got free food; a box of butter, rye bread, a small cucumber (I prefer smaller cucumbers because I don't have enough time to eat all of it before it rots in my fridge), cheese slices, and chocolate, otherwise they would end up in the garbage.
We went to a supermarket where Mirette bought some groceries, and then we traveled to Hometown. On the train back there, I petted a cute dog.
Once back at my home, I went to the storage room and brought an old cardboard box full of classic Doctor Who DVDs to my home, intending to watch some of them.
I took my evening meds, and then I went to bed. I watched The Good Place on my Netflix app.
Tomorrow I will spend the entire day doing housecleaning; I want my apartment to be clean and tidy before the Easter party. I need to replace the towels and bed sheets, hoover and mop every square inch of the floor, and scrub the bathroom.
I also have to go pick up Elysion from the bus station, and swing by the pharmacy for my allergy pills.
