29th December 2011

I really like these days between Christmas and the new year, even if I don't actually care for special days. Of course, I celebrate Christmas and other festive periods because it brings a little glamour to the everyday life, but all in all, I go through every day as usual, get up in the morning, eat chocolate, poop, look at porn, take naps, and then go to bed in the evening.
But anyway, I enjoy the last days of the year. It feels somehow magical; like listening to bolero and waiting for the drumbeats to begin.
These days (especially now that there's no snow) seem so dull and gray and boring and ordinary, but the magic of Christmas still lingers on. As if everything, everything around me would have sprinkles of glitter.

And new year, wow. It feels like it washes us from the dust of yesteryear, and we get to start the new year clean.
