I read from the news that Finland is going to be in trouble, because the baby boomers who ruined the economy are soon going on pension, and there’s no one to take care of them because the nubile millennials aren’t going to have babies who grow up to be their caretakers.
Then again, you cannot force anyone to have children simply to take care of you because you can’t.
I read a novel where all unwed women were taken to “breeding camps” where they were pimped with rich men. Perhaps that could work.

Well, what do you know, I managed to get up at ten past eight o’clock this morning, even if I stayed awake past midnight. I got up voluntarily, because I got sick of having nonsensical dreams.

I took my morning medicine, brushed my teeth, took a shower, and dressed into the neatest clothes I could find, a pair of sleek black trousers and an adorable t- shirt.

Before the appointment in the health center, I went to visit Citymarket in Myyrmanni shopping center to buy some cleaning products; three pairs of yellow plastic gloves (I am going to use yellow gloves for cleaning, and green ones for washing the dishes), packet of scouring sponges and a bottle of Cillit Bang Mould & Dirt cleaning spray (normally, I would buy only ecological hygiene products, but considering my bathroom, I need something more efficient).
Then I went to the stationery shop to buy four Valentine’s day cards; three for my friends outside Finland, and one for Suavecita.
I still have to buy fifteen Valentine’s day cards for my Finnish friends, and birthday cards for the ones who have their birthday this month; Kaarle, Carlo, Heidi, Kerri, Sarah, and I would also like to send a card to one friend who has her name day this week.

I made it to the appointment in the health center in time. The doctor checked my blood pressure, BMI, and listened to my heart and lungs with a stethoscope. She also prescribed me hydrocortisone lotion and Apobase, which is a thicker basic lotion than Aqualan L, they should cure the eczema on my right wrist.
The doctor said everything is fine, except my BMI could be lower. We also agreed that this week I am going to give a blood sample, perhaps tomorrow morning. I have to be without eating for 12 hours, but I can take my morning medicine with water.

After the appointment, I went back home and put my new purchases to their rightful places.
I had to hoover the floor again, then I hoovered and mopped the floor under the furniture. It proved to be very easy, except the delusions kept on bothering me and making me moody and angry.

My ASPA worker Kaarina came for the weekly visit, we talked about lots of things while I knitted. I have started knitting a new stripe into the “project”, with gray-, blue-, white- and red- striped knitting yarn.
I should also make a list of the different single- colored (cream, yellow, green, brown, grey, red, and purple) knitting yarns that I need to purchase for the “Tom Baker” scarf I am going to knit. I also need to find a shop where to buy them.

After the home visit, I left at the same time with Kaarina. I went to Myyrmanni shopping center and went to the stationery shop to look for Valentine’s day cards for my Finnish friends.
I noticed that Citymarket sells anti- allergy & asthma pillows that are made from environment- friendly fibers. They are in discount right now, and cost only 20 euros.
I also noticed that the duvet set I have had my eye on for a while (white base with a pattern of cute cartoon bats with bows, hats, and such) is in discount and also costs 20 euros. The original price was something like 34 euros and 95 cents. I need to buy both the pillow and duvet set this week.

Once back home, I reserved tickets for another play I am going to go see in March 29th, named Pasi Was Here. It’s about two guys who are friends, and live their childhoods in the eighties.
When I created a profile to the online ticket shop, I was asked to choose between two genders. It gave me no problem choosing the option “female”, but I thought that it should be fixed into an all- inclusive option, such as “other” or “rather not say”.
Anyway, I was glad that they offered discounts in tickets for pensioners, students, and unemployed people. I chose “unemployed”. As for the delivery option, I chose picking up the ticket from the nearest Ärrä convenience shop.

I called Suavecita and talked to her for a while. We agreed that she is coming for a sleepover on next week’s Saturday, that is the day before Valentine’s day, and on that day we will go out for coffee and cakes.

Tomorrow I will have an appointment in the psychiatric center at two o’clock in the afternoon. After that, I am going to the gym. Here’s to hoping that my PMS won’t distract me from working out.
A few times when I go to the gym, I don’t feel like working out all the way to the end of the routine. I have made the decision that each time when I visit the gym, after walking on the treadmill for 24 minutes, I use every available exercise machine for 30 turns or lifts or whatever, for every part of my body, arms, back, sides, tights, calves, and so on. But sometimes I just lose my motivation and interest.
I will also go to the hobby group in Myöhätuuli at four o’clock in the afternoon. I don’t think I will go see my mom, I have decided not to go to my parents’ home all too often so they won’t get annoyed.
