(no subject)

I swallowed plenty of tranquillizers on Wednesday evening, and as a result I woke up early on Thursday morning to the sensation of my knees hurting. It’s always the same when I take lots of tranquillizers, they always make my knees hurt. I don’t know if it’s kind of psychosomatic, or whatever causes it, but it very unpleasant.

I tried to move my legs and bend them and sleep in different positions, with no avail. When it was still early, I took a hot shower to soothe the ache, and it helped.

I slept all the way to quarter past six o’clock in the evening (6:15 p.m.), I think it’s some sort of a record.

I took a quick shower, and put on a simple dress and went to the shopping center to recycle empty bottles. I bought a Marabou Japp chocolate bar, and spent the evening peacefully listening to the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack.

This morning I had nice dreams, and I was mighty disappointed when I woke up and realized it had all been a dream.

I didn’t bother with having a proper wash, I just brushed my teeth and splashed some water on my face and dabbed lotion on it.

I went to the mall to just hang around, and then I ran into my mother. We took the same bus to my parents’ home, she gave me 20 euros and we had coffee and chocolate- filled cinnamon rolls.

I had to leave in a hurry, I was on my way to Helsinki to see Mirette. I took the train and went straight to Kiasma, where zie was waiting for me. We had planned to go to Kiasma and the museum of Natural Science, as it was the first Friday of the month there was a free admission to both.

We took lots of photos and a few friendship selfies, and then we went to the museum of Natural Science. We had a good time there, swooning at the stuffed animals, I mean, not plushies but taxidermy statues, or whatevsies they are called. I liked the wolves, seals, owls, woolly mammoths, and kangaroos.

I was feeling a bit peckish, so we went to Arnold’s Coffee and Bakery Shop in Forum shopping center, I bought a bagel sprinkled with poppy seeds and sesame seeds, and stuffed with cucumber slices, cold- smoked salmon, cream cheese, salt and pepper (I actually learned today that there’s a thing called “salt and pepper hair”, which reminds me of Rupert Graves). I also bought a glass of lemonade.

We decided to go to another museum in Sederholm House, which is also known as Children’s Museum. There was a typical Finnish “Grandma’s house”, a 70’s apartment. It reminded me of the apartment where my maternal grandparents’ used to live before they passed away.
We also made the decision to go to the Helsinki Pride March tomorrow.

By then it was time to head home, we took a subway to East Center where Mirette got off and went home, and I went all the way to Mellu’s Hill and caught the bus %/” to Myyr York.
On the way I called Suavecita and asked hir if zie wants to come to the Pride march as well, but they declined. We talked about stuff for a while until my smartphone ran out of battery, d’oh.

Once back home, I did housework; I washed a load of laundry, took the old laundry off the drying rack and put it to the closet, ironed the brown, embroidered Dirndl dress I am going to wear tomorrow, cleaned out my fridge and looked for stuff I could give away.
I have decided to take part in this challenge I read about; going through every single nook and corner of your dwelling, and find as much useless stuff as you can, and give them away to charity. I have decided to take part in this challenge every time I do housework, nyah.
